Vegesan is formulated with Iodine to effectively sanitize vegetables. This product is fast-acting and potent against bacteria, viruses, yeast and fungi. When used to sanitize vegetables such as lettuce, kale and broccoli, a wait time of 1 minute is suggested, with no rinse required. At higher concentrations, Vegesan can be used to sanitize food-contact surfaces such as table tops, cutting boards, utensils and stock pots. Vegesan’s caramel colour indicates active iodine and thus the usefulness of the solution can be monitored visually. Once the solution turns clear, a new solution should be created. This product is ideal for use in sanitizing applications in food processing industries, restaurants, kitchens and lunch rooms.
